Morewood’s Blog

July 30th 2022

Hi, welcome to my site. By now you should know a bit about who I am. I will try to put blogs on this site regularly. The schedule will not be as straightforward as you might like because things in life do not happen in a nicely outlined pattern now do they. If you should have any questions you can always contact me through my social media, links on the contact page, or through reactions on my homepage. Now haven’t I nicely redirected you back to my books page(LOL).

In this blog I thought I might tell you a bit more about myself and my books once in a while. Let’s start by telling you that in this stage of my life I’m actually not a full time writer as my sales are still really poor. I have a day job to feed my family though and I might start this thing by telling you about it.

For over 21 years I’ve driven a garbage truck through the streets of my region here in Belgium and for the past 5 years I’ve been collecting garbage on what we call container parks. They are places where you can bring your recyclable garbage separated so it can be reused instead of just thrown away.

For that my company works together with a ‘made to measure’ firm. Basically they take people who have difficulty to get a job for various reasons and give them a chance at a decent life. Some of them need to be brought back up from a bad situation, sometimes by their own erroneous life decisions, sometimes because life gave them a bad start or hard blows. Most of them just want to give themselves a better life or at least a chance to one.

This job takes a lot of time away from what I really want to do which is writing. It is a double edged sword as helping these people on their way out of a bad situation is very gratifying and is in itself a good deed (for which I then get paid LOL), so it will be bittersweet to leave the job should it come to that.

The main reason why I’m not able to live of writing is because of the… well frankly disastrous sales! (Oh no! Now he’s going to nag about buying his books LOL.) This is not the worst though because to me it is still a hobby and I get my gratification from writing the stories themselves. Still wouldn’t it be good to live of a hobby, right.

I guess this is about enough for the time being. I’m pondering about my next blog which I present to write in the coming days. I might write about the topics that always return and the pitfalls that could entail. But then this afternoon there is a gathering I’m invited to go to with my wife so I could write about that first.

I hope you enjoyed my little blog and hope to see you back soon.

Thanks for your attention, till next time.

Hi, how are you people doing? I’m back fast aren’t I. As I’m a writer and my life is generally a bit boring I have to take advantage of the interesting things happening in my life. Well I say interesting…

About two years ago I was 30 kilos heavier and as I was already riding my bike to work, a 16 kilometer commute, I took up running. On the days I’m home from work I run in the early morning, around 6 am, and when the weather allows I run outside in between the woods and the farmlands.

Today was different as early in the jog I heard music coming from one of the terrains in the area where a few people have some summerhouses. I ignored it until I saw a guy on a bike approaching. He made an awkward fall and wanted to get up but didn’t so he just gave up. By the way he’d ridden his bike I knew exactly what was going on.

I was running his way anyway so when I got to him he was making another attempt to stand up. He only managed it with my help. As he looked at me a little dazed I saw the intoxicating effects of that so coveted liquid running through his veins in his eyes. He was drunk. Now we can’t judge him can we because most of us have been there.

It reminded me of my own youth when me and my friends partied through the night. I asked him if he would be okay and he assured me he would be. I saw him ride away to sleep of his daze. He would probably wake up in the afternoon with a whopper of a hangover and promise himself he wouldn’t do that again, then later on go back on that decision, probably next week like I did in my youth.

These days I don’t drink that regularly anymore but then yesterday we had that Caribbean foods festival. When we arrived we were surprised by how few stands they had and there were even less people. The exuberant prices, most notably of the watered down cocktail I drank, didn’t help either. My wife didn’t want to stay and me neither.

We past by the supermarket, bought some food and drinks, and went home to fire up the barbecue. I drank about half a bottle of spiced Bacardi on ice. I can assure you it is not an ideal fuel for a morning jog. Luckily I went to sleep early, about half past 9 pm, but still.

I do not promise myself I will never drink again though. It’s not going to happen anyway as I’m not going to listen to a drunk guy whose talking to himself now am I (LOL).

Here you learned something more about me. I’m a casual drinker, and not funny at all (LOL). Let me tell you something else, I do not go behind the wheel of a motorized vehicle when I’m drunk, and I never have. Well once but that’s a story for another time. Just listen to me when I say, at the risk of sounding like you mom: ‘don’t drink and drive’!

I hope you liked this blog. Thanks for your interest and till next time.

August 05th 2022

Hi, how are my Morewoodians doing. Hey if Lady Gaga can call her fans ‘Little Monsters’ I can name you people too right. It’s the end of a difficult week.

I had a brutal one at work. Last week was the last week of the Construction Leave. Here in Belgium the Construction Sector has a collective leave, usually the last three weeks of July. And at the end of it they apparently rummage around the house, garage and garden and then bring their rubbish to the container park.

Apart from that a lot of people have taken their leave this week knowing it would be a tough one so the ‘Made To Measure’ company didn’t have enough people to help us and we were forced to go about our business with only one helper instead of two. At least the last two days.

Now what I haven’t told you yet is that a year or two ago I had a shoulder replacement. Due to extensive arthrosis I was in constant pain and after having tried a number of different, failed treatments like gel injections and cortisone injections we decided to go ahead with an operation. A prosthesis was placed. The operation went well, with relatively little pain.

After a period of rehabilitation I started working again, first half time later four fifths until I was ready to go at it full time again. The problem is that I can’t do everything anymore and after a while it begins to hurt anyway. This usually happens around Thursday, this week it started on Monday already.

All this has messed a bit with my ability to write, and writing relaxes me so I was a bit on edge this week. All this just to tell you I’m looking forward to the weekend. We have a festival about four kilometers from our house this weekend called Reggae Geel. Do I really have to tell you what style of music it is? My wife and me have bought tickets for Saturday and I feel I can use the enjoyment.

I hope you enjoyed my little blog and hope to see my Morewoodians back soon.

Thanks for your attention and till next time.

Hello my Morewoodians, how are you doing today? Thanks for joining me again.

Now I know I promised you I would talk about my books but suddenly life seems to intervene. Well I haven’t ended this blog yet so bare with me for a moment.

Yesterday was the Reggae Geel Festival to which my wife and I went. I’m going to add a few images so you can get at least a gist of what it is all about. It was a great fest by the way. I like the music and the atmosphere around the grounds but it is a very tiring affair and a thirsty one as well (LOL).

The crowd was a diverse one of course with people from various countries all over the world and many Jamaicans amongst them. And at various moments in the performances of the various bands an aspect of life many find difficult to talk about came forward.

I’m talking about racism. I’ll hit you with an apt adage in this case: If you are tired of hearing about racism just imagine what it is like for the people experiencing it. I wanted to use this to flawlessly morph into a talk about what my books are all about. Don’t be fooled with the genres of my books, they are an indictment against all kinds of discrimination and racism in particular.

Let me be completely honest with you. I was raised in a predominately white society in which I was taught that the ‘white race’ is superior and our history was for a lack of a better word ‘whitewashed’. I am not racist free and probably never will be because of that. I have however set myself the goal to speak up against racism wherever I find it even if it is within myself.

I’ve actually listened to the great Afro-American activist Angela Yvonne Davis who said that in a racist society it is not enough to be non-racist, we need to be antiracist.

Well now you now what themes are incorporated in my books, and I intent to talk more about this in subsequent blogs.

I hope you enjoyed my blog, thank you for your attention and hope to see you back next time.

Hello my Morewoodians, how are you today. Thanks for joining me again.

I was hoping to talk to you about my debut book. On the ‘about’ page of this website I already told you that for ten to fifteen years I had two stories running around my brain. One was about an American invasion of Brazil, the other of a colonies in the far future under attack by an old enemy.

I started writing the second story first. In my head it involved Star Trek and for obvious reasons I had to take that part out. It then became a tale about an Alliance of human colonies. I soon discovered that I could incorporate the first story into my book as flashbacks. The flashbacks became so elaborate they evolved into chapters of their own. This created a problem however.

A gap existed between both adventures and I had to create a link between a war on Earth morphing into an exodus and the Alliance existing in a spacefaring society in the colonies. I decided to tell the story of the colonist arriving and setting up that society I’d created earlier.

Now I want to tell you one more thing about that book. The people living in the colonies had lived in peace and cooperation for hundreds of years. They’d been taught by live that trust was the greatest asset. Because of this they did not know, nor understand the concept of racism. And then a white supremacists faction long thought to be long lost attacked.

A few surprises are in the story and things or characters are not at all what they seem.

I hope you learned a bit more about my books and writing, and that you’ve enjoyed yourself. Thanks for your attention and I hope to see you back next time.

Hello my Morewoodians, how are you today? I hope everything is well on your end. Tanks for joining me again.

I was hoping to tell you a bit about my trilogy. The first two books are actually made up by six stories, five of which are rewrites of what i’d written before in the late eighties and early nineties. In the third book I connect these chronicles, which were actually never intended to be linked, in a surprising way.

It tells the story of a young man who envisions a life of science but is catapulted into a very different direction by a chance meeting. He and his equally scientific girlfriend must now deal with a world that holds a lot more weird stuff than any form of science can throw at them. For starters there are people with powers of psychokinetics. Is it all chemically induced by an evil company or is there a more natural explanation for it. And what is William ‘Bill’ Parker’s role in all of this.

There is a lot of me lurking in the protagonist of those stories. Some of my friends from way back when, and even my parents appear in some form or another in these tales. For instance my mother always told us she would never know any of her grandchildren. It was a prediction that unfortunately came true when she died just shy of tree months before my oldest sun was born.

Now my father that was another matter all together. He might come over as a bit of a racist in the beginning but he turns around pretty fast once he gets to know Bill black girlfriend Shanika. It is based on two experiences I had with him. The first was a reaction, or rather lack thereof when I asked him how he would react if I came home with a black girl. It was after watching a show about mixed couples on television. He just starred sternly in the distance never answering the question.

The second anecdote happened when I took part in an exchange program with Russian students. We had a woman over for three nights something my dad was squarely against. But once he was able to talk to her with my help translating from dutch to english and back he was sorry she had to go so soon.

It’s how some of my stories develop. Things from my past, people I meet, inspire me to write tales and characters. Of course I never base an entire character on only one person. It’s different aspects from different people that form a totally knew persona.

I hope you’ve learned a bit more and that you’ve enjoyed yourself in the process. Thanks for the attention and I hope to see you next time.

Hello again Morewoodians. How are we doing today? I hope everything is good on your side and thanks for joining me again.

I had a strange encounter this week. It had all to do with a somewhat quirky thing I like to do. But before I reveal that let me tell you I was a seriously surprised, and scared of what happened.

I was walking as I usually do. What was not usual was that I was alone. My wife had a headache and she decided to remain at home. A car pulled up, its windows down and the occupant, a woman, told me I was going to die. Yes just like that she told me I was a dead man.

How do you react to that. I guess I had my wits about me that day because I responded to her that everybody is going to die at some point. She then pointed at my feet telling my that walking barefoot was very unhealthy.

Yep, I like to walk barefoot. Most people just want to know if it doesn’t hurt at which point I can assure them that it doesn’t, at least not anymore. I started with short distances and worked my way up. In addition I run barefoot on my treadmill. By now I’ve developed a considerable amount of callus to protect my feet.

Back to the story. I told her that, like everything in life, walking barefoot has both advantages and disadvantages. She was not impressed and told me all the ‘filth’ on the ground would enter my body and have a bad influence on me. I told her I always take a shower after my walk washing the ‘filth’ off my feet. She then advised me to cook my washcloths thoroughly and left.

I was bewildered by this encounter and so was everybody I told this story. I’d never had anybody react so directly to my custom of walking barefoot before and usually in this country people stare but don’t react much to what is considered ‘strange behavior’. I would really like your input on this if you feel like leaving a message.

I hope you enjoyed this story. Thanks for your attention and I hope to see you next time.

Hello Morewoodians. I hope you’re all good and thanks for joining me again.

Around 2003, after a long gap, I restarted an old hobby, writing. I was hoping to finish a story that had been plaguing my mind for some time. It was in a time I still had an old computer with floppy disks. I was well into the book when my computer crashed.

The story itself was of a son who was following in his fathers footsteps to become an archeologist. His big dream was finding a lost legion that had gone missing ages ago in a dessert on another continent. It would have a lot of the cultural aspects in it of a country I had visited only months earlier.

But as I told you before my computer crashed and the book was lost. I did have a copy of it saved on a disk however so it was just a matter of buying another computer and reclaim the memory on the disk, or was it? The disk itself had been damaged as well. I did ask a friend with a lot more knowledge about computers to retrieve the book from the disk but all he got was some stray sentences.

I lost hope and did what is never a good idea, I gave up instead of starting again. It took me another fifteen years before I would take up my old hobby for the third time. I wasn’t keen on starting that wretched book again because it had given me much heartache. Besides I had several other stories running around my brain anyway.

After writing five books I had gathered the courage to start that book of the archeologist again. By now the story had changed a bit. It became a story about a world rather than a single culture, and the focus of the story was not just on archeology but on racism as well. In a previous blog I’ve already talked about this theme in my books.

The Legion of the Damned is a multilayered story with lots of parallels to our Earth and some criticism on today’s society. I hope some of you might be interested in reading it, it’s quite a story.

I hope you enjoyed this blog, thanks for the attention and I hope to see you next time.

Hello Morewoodians, how are we doing today? Thanks for joining me again.

People seem to want to commemorate things don’t they. Birthdays, anniversaries. At my day job things are no different. The department I’ve been working in for the past six years, that has a space all of its own, had its tenth birthday last Tuesday and we had a party.

The human capacity to find reasons to get together eat and drink, get fat and drunk, seems to exceed any other talent we have. It sometimes scares me, but I commemorate with them all the same.

In this case they’d ordered a mobile snack bar that served several different types of sausages and meatballs, beef stew and Belgian fries. Yes Belgian fries!! It is our national dish and the French had nothing to do with it! They are Belgian fries!.

Now where was I, oh yes, we also had a mobile pub. They had a variety of refreshments, and yes they did  serve beer, and wine. I’m not much of a wine drinker, but beer…

The party began at four thirty in the afternoon, straight after work, and was stopped at eight in the evening. After all we had to go to work again the day after. I’d expected a few missing colleagues the day after but everybody showed up, and on time too. It goes to show that humanity is capable of a lot of things, not just partying and getting drunk.

Well that’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed this blog and thanks for your attention. I hope to see you back again next time.

Hello Morewoodians, how are you doing today. Thanks for joining me for another blog.

I thought I would talk a bit about my work in progress. It has been going a bit slow as inspiration for it seems to come intermittently in waves and as I still have a day job there are times it comes when I don’t have a way to write.

The first chapter is actually a story I had written about three decades ago. It’s about alien fugitive who finds himself romantically involved with an Earth woman. They have to flee for alien enemy soldiers and are eventually killed on a remote planet. A letter written by the woman urges the people from the fugitives race to stop running and face the enemy.

It became the first chapter in a war story between two tribes called the Children of the Night and the DayWalkers. The Walkers, for short, are a Tribe with their heads always turned to the future while the Children value ancient traditions and old buildings and ships. But not all is at it would seem, nothing is as superficial as one might think.

As a side story we follow the future religious leader on her quest to find her destiny, the reunification of the two Tribes. On her journey she is trying to help lost souls, spirits who did not transgress to the afterlife.

The Children’s government is an empire much like the British one from our own past. Their religion however is loosely based on the Hindu beliefs in many gods. The Walkers have a president and live in modern cities of glass and concrete.

It is an intricate story with a moral undertone that sets two Tribes, races, against each other in a horrible war in which both sides commit atrocities and both of them have good and evil people. For this work I speak of different complexions for both Tribes but I do not name those pigmentations. I thought it was a good thing not to make this about Earth races again.

Well that was it for today, thanks for your attention and I hope to see you next time.

Hello Morewoodians. How are we doing today? Thanks for joining me again, it’s always a pleasure.

Everything in life changes. So do the tools and devices around us. To be fair change isn’t always good, and people have different opinions on different changes.

“What is he talking about?”, you might ask.

This week a fully electric truck arrived at work for us to test. Well I say arrived. We go and get the truck at a loading station at the dealership a whopping distance of less than a kilometer from our work. I was selected as the one to start the test.

I was instructed to drive it for two weeks, then my two colleagues will get the opportunity to drive it, and it will stay with us for about four and a half months.

The truck drives well enough. It has all the most modern gadgets including adaptive speed control which makes it easy to handle. It does make you get bored… and lazy too (LOL). The four battery packs weighing four tonnes are at either side of the truck on the underside. It makes for an excellent road holding.

Now testing the future isn’t always as straight forward as one might think. The driving isn’t that different but it still has its little quirks and imperfections. Of course a knew piece of equipment still has its ‘teething problems’. And therein lay the issue.

Thursday, after loathing cargo, the truck still starts up but refused to go into gear. It’s a button operated automatic that ‘automatically reverted back to neutral. The display said: stop problems drive.

After a bit of confusion a guy with a computer came to repair the truck. He checked if it had the latest update and did a recalibration. We were send on our way and the workday ended in a bit of chaos.

Next day I took the truck with a new sense of confidence. A bit misplaced as the truck developed the same problem only this time with a bit of fiddling I managed to get it working again. Still we couldn’t go on with it because of the unreliability of the drive. I took it back to the dealership and they promised me to fix the problems.

Monday will be the third time I’ll be taking it and let us hope that this time it is repaired. To be honest I would have been more surprised if we’d got it without any problems for the testing period. It is a new technology, and the first electric truck for this dealership. They will learn from it and become specialists in it. No one can blame them for trying.

That’s is for today. I hope you enjoyed the blog and thanks for taking the time to reed it. See you next time.

Hello again Morewoodians. I hope everything is good on your side. Thanks for joining me again, let’s do this.

Today I wanted to talk to you about sports. Not that I actively do sports, apart from jogging or the bike rides to work that is. But I am an avid lover of sports especially football (not the American kind), American football (okay the American kind) and rugby.

O god I love rugby. The manly way these people leap at each other unafraid of pain or injury. The blood that’s regularly spilled in those matches. I would never want to do it and that’s why I admire these people so much.

I got one problem with watching sports though. I cannot watch it without supporting some side. In many case I feel for the underdog and that is the bigger problem. I love winning and get nervous or even angry when I’m losing. Now in football (not the American kind) I support some teams that are with the best of their respective countries. I get some satisfaction from that. But in the other sports I get frustrated a lot.

You might think I just should stop supporting teams and watch as a neutral, or maybe stop watching at all. It is not as simple as that though. My love for sports and my inability to stay neutral is both a gift and a burden I guess. I’ll be afflicted by that for the rest of my (hopefully long) life.

Well you found out something more about me. I thank you for your attention and hope to see you next time.

Hello Moorwoodians, happy to report to you again. I hope you’re all okay over there.

I’ve always been a little apprehensive about having my work jugged. I’m afraid people won’t like it. But it is of course important to have reviews so people know what to expects so they might be persuaded to buy my books.

A week or two ago I decided to trust someone who contacted me through instagram and I made arrangements to get my work reviewed. For days I waited anxiously on the verdict and then it came. I was almost afraid to look at it.

To my surprise it was actually better then expected. I will put the review here in a picture so you can read it too.

There are some critical points I may have to address in my work in progress but hey overall I’m very happy with it. I mean, characters with depth and twist and turns that enthrall you. Okay he talks about some repetitiveness and being bothered by some the communication in some scenes but still, I’m happy.

So a shorter blog than usual but I thought I could do with some uplifting due to a busy week at work.

Thanks for sticking with me and I hope to see you next time.

Hello Morewoodians, welcome back and thanks for visiting my website.

It’s about time I told you a bit about my work in progress. It is almost finished anyway, another month or so and I think it might be ready for publishing.

There are several aspects to the new novel that are quite characteristic and may not be as compatible as on first glance. First one of the civilizations, the Children of the Night, is governed by a system of royals going up all the way to Emperor. They are a society that are pretty strongly attached to the past and traditions.

One of those things is religion. While the royal system is based on the British Empire their religion has a lot of aspects of Indian beliefs. Of course everything is mixed up with some improvisation and put in a science fiction session.

The culture of the DayWalkers is very different. They live for progress and have an elected government including a president. They have their head in the future and would rather destroy the past than live in it.

A gauntlet is thrown and a war ensues. In all the struggle we learn that not all is what it seems and surprises lurk around every corner.

Now I’ve said a lot without telling much did I. You might want to wait for the book, I believe it is worth it.

Thanks for your attention and I hope to see you next time.

Hello Morewoodians how is it going? Welcome back to my blog, thanks and I hope you’re going to like it.

I’ve had a lot of distractions the past few weeks that have kept me from writing a lot. One thing that has kept me busy is the search for a new bike.

I do a 16 kilometer commute to work with a real, non-electric bicycle but the one I bought only two years ago is actually to small for me. I thought it was a good idea to by a bike with a low frame, a woman’s bike, so getting on and off would be more comfortable. I would still prefer such a bike but there is a problem.

You can not step into a shop and ask for a specific type of bike like we used to do before. It has nothing to do with the Russian invasion into Ukraine nor with the Corona crisis either. This problem has existed for a number of years now and I was shielded from it because the bike I bought two years ago just happened to be available in the shop.

I had a specific make and model in mind and went to a shop that has a good reputation. The guy behind the counter showed me on the computer those city bikes were simply not available. Nor were many other non-electric bikes. It seems that all of the factories just want us to ride electric or if we don’t want that we buy a racing or mountain bike. I want neither.

Yesterday I took my current bike and rode about 65 kilometers stopping at a few bike stores to find myself a suitable bike for my commute. I’d almost given up hope but then I found what I was looking for, more or less.

Life is full of compromises and that is a lesson I had to learn again and again throughout mine. It’s a touring bike. I guess I should be happy about the fact that it is a bit sturdier. It is also a men’s bike. Well I am fit enough to get on and off it so it’ll have to do.

Thanks for your presence and I hope to see you next time.

Hello Morewoodians, how are you doing today? Welcome back, today I have a question.

To celebrate the nearing end of my recent project, a book called ‘Children of the Night’, I have written a synopsis. Please be so kind as to read it.

So what is your question you might ask. Well what do you think, would you by the book on the bases of this synopsis? Does it grab you enough to be interested?

Thanks for passing by again and I hope to see you next time.

Another feature you may want to be interested in is that it is all inclusive. This means you can have young and old people and mixed teams with men and women alike. The only thing I can do is advise you to watch it if you have the opportunity. I’m pretty sure that even people who don’t like sports might be interested in this one.

Hello Morewoodians, how are we doing today? Thanks for showing your interest again.

You think you’ve seen it all. I thought so, but no. Every now and then, whatever your age, life can throw you na curveball and you are as surprised as you were in your youth.

If you are following me you know I like watching sport and that rugby is one of my favorites these days. You may think it is brutal, and it is. You like American football, just watch rugby. No helmets, no personal protection, in fact they play in regular football, or soccer as the Americans say, outfits and that’s it. The consequence is that at time the doctors have to come on the field to clean up the blood. Yes you heard me, or read me, correctly.

But then they announced the rugby league world cup and one of them was the wheelchair version. They told us it was spectacular and a must watch and I thought ‘Okay, let’s check this out’.

Last Thursday was my first game and I was pleasantly surprised. All right, no blood, not that you would want that in this case. But what the hell is this game all about. I didn’t want to play rugby because I’m basically a sissy, but this is ridiculous.

Fast pace, hard knocks and wheelchairs, with they guys in it, just spill on the floor and get knocked down. Usually they get up unassisted too. These people are real athletes and probably get payed too little if you compare it with the rest of the sportspeople.

That’s it for today. Thanks for your visit to my site and I hope to see you next time.

Hello Morewoodians, how are we today? It has been two weeks since I make a blog and you might be wondering why?

It had to do with two things. I was, am still busy rewriting my WIP. It’s almost finished by the way. And then a pastime I had. Well basically I was lazy and I needed a bit of leisure time.

I basically watched the Rugby League World Cup, all three of them. Wheelchair, women’s and men’s. It wasn’t going well for the teams bar one, but then I always was one with a thing for the underdog. The Samoans got through to the final, against all odds. But their day wasn’t due yet and this weekend they lost the final.

With the Rugby World Cup over the Football, or for my American friends Soccer, World Cup is beginning. And herein lies a problem. The fact that it is in Qatar has been criticized heavily and now they turned on the critics as well.

The problem is the discrimination in Qatar. News comes our way about prejudice against the LGBT+ community, women’s rights, migrant workers and so forth. Some believe we should boycott the whole thing because of it. I might be swayed to the side of the football community, meaning I will watch the games. Maybe they could organize some peaceful actions to protest against the abuses.

Now however another message has dominated the communication waves. How dare we Europeans protest against this! Considering the past 3000 years it would be a bit hypocritical wouldn’t it? So should we just ignore every injustice? Wouldn’t that be equally as criminal as what we did the past 3000 years? Can’t we do both things together, apologize and point out the injustices in the world?

I believe we can. If we are not allowed to better the world by talking about these things then how are changes going to happen? It is a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation in my opinion. So I’m going to be damned by watching the World Cup, and hoping it will be an inspiration to the governing bodies of Qatar to change their ways.

A heavy one this time. You can always react and give me your opinions about this. Thanks for your interest and I hope to see you next time.
